New Features in 3.11 Firmware and Apps

3.11 Software Updates

Tailoring your Pebble takes many different shapes, from watchfaces and apps, to bands and skins. Firmware 3.11 adds a another dimension to personalizing your watch with new vibration options. From your watch, hit up Menu » Settings » Vibrations to check out the vibration patterns available for your Pebble Time, Time Steel, or Time Round.

Overall sleep tracking accuracy in Pebble Health has been improved, and you’ll notice support for daytime naps lasting longer than one hour. Nap details can be found on your timeline and on the Sleep screen of the Health app.

Everyone loves the Snooze button, right? You can now Snooze incoming Timeline reminders. Snoozing dynamically re-delivers the alert closer to your event’s start time. Reminders snoozed after the start time resend in 10-minutes.

Name Changes for Pebble Mobile Apps

Starting with version 3.11, our iPhone and Android apps’ names are changing from “Pebble Time” to “Pebble.” The name change makes it clear that these apps can support all Pebble smartwatches running Firmware 3.0 and up.

Our legacy Pebble apps will also receive a final update, renaming them as “Pebble OLD VERSION” on iTunes and Google Play. These apps only support Pebble Classic and Pebble Steel running firmwares below version 3.0. We recommend migrating to the new Pebble apps for the latest features and support.
